But, where are the snows of yesteryear?

There was another I loved once
As I love you now.
We were perfect together
As we are now.
And in summers and winters
We loved
And in light and darkness,
By seas, in cities, beneath trees
We loved.
In all these places
In every season
In heat and cold
Beneath the same sun,
Though it hung in a younger sky,
We loved
And that love, like this love,
Will never die
